To hide a profiling field for all users:
- Click on the “Contacts” module
- Click on any contact in the list
- In the contact details section, in the “Contact summary” interface, click on the “Profiling” tab
- In the “Contact summary” interface, click on the three small dots near the upper right corner
- In the list, click on the “Manage fields” option
- Click on the eye in front of the appropriate field (green = visible/red = hidden)
- Click on the “X” in the upper right corner to return to your client’s contact information
(The changes will be automatically saved.)
To hide a profiling field for certain users only:
- Click on the “Settings” module
- Click on the “User group and permissions” tab
- In the drop-down list of the “user group” field, select the user group in which you want to hide a profiling field (users belonging to this group will no longer see the field that you have hidden)
- In the list of modules, click on the “Contact Details” section
- Uncheck the “Read” and “Write” boxes in front of the field you want to hide
- Return to the top of the page, then click on “Save”
(The changes will be made the next time those users log in.)
