Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although CentrixOne CRM offers many basic fields, you will likely need to create custom fields to meet your specific needs, such as adding a customer number to a contact. You can create up to 70 fields at the contact level and 70 more fields at the account level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, suppose your CentrixOne account is synced with the Acomba or Acomba X accounting software. In that case, you are limited to 65 custom fields in an account card, as 5 of them are used by the synchronization API.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changes made to custom fields in a contact card apply to all contact cards and vice-versa for an account card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to create a custom field (profiling)?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click on the Contacts<\/strong> or Accounts<\/strong> module<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on a random name (it doesn’t matter)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the Contact summary<\/strong> or Account summary<\/strong>, click on the Profiling<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. In the top right-hand corner of the same interface, click on the three small dots<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. In the drop-down menu, click on Add a field<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Name your field in French and in English<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Choose your field type<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Click on Save<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
